So as you know if you read my last blog, I went and watched Scream 4 (or SCRE4M) in the cinema last Thursday. My plan was to watch the movie again before I wrote a review on it, but hey I'll do it now because I'm not sure when I'm going to watch it, and I got loads of things to say on it!So overall I thought it was really well put together and an awesome film! Before I saw this, I had no knowledge on what the Scream films were, what the plot was, or anything about them! To be honest, the only reason I wanted to see this was because the certificate was 15, rather than 18 like the others in the trilogy.
Even though I didn't know what they were about, I did manage to pick up the plot relatively quickly, which was good :)
After watching the 4th Scream, I went home and watched the first one online. After seeing that, a lot of things that didn't make sense to me suddenly did! I watched some reviews online for it and nearly all of them said that it's vital you watch the first Scream before the 4th, but you don't need to watch the 2nd or 3rd. I think it even says somewhere in the film that it's a remake, not a sequel.
Many people have been asking me if it's scary. I wouldn't really say that it's scary, just suspenseful and gory! (Although when I did come home after the film, I jumped out of my skin when the phone rang!) Some parts are quite thrilling and I did enjoy them! But one part did make me feel a little sick. When you see the movie, I think you can guess which part I'm talking about.
So to wrap things up, I really liked it! I'm definately going to watch the 2nd and 3rd one and I hope they don't disappoint! :)
