Remember that little thing, which I started my first blog talking about? That really important event that I was excited for and determined to complete? Yeah I failed big time. I gave up around day 9. I FEEL SO ASHAMED. But to be honest the plot was terrible and I wasn't reaching my targets enough. So that's another year failed. I will most probably try again next year and say the same things but still fail. But ya gotta stay positive!
Anyway, other stuff that's going on. A lot of negative reviews of Hp7a? I honestly don't understand why some people disliked it so much! I thought it was one of the best for the change of scenario and atmosphere. I guess some thought it would still be learning potions and jammin in the common room at Hogwarts, not completely away from the school and as isolated as it was.
Yeeeah that's it that's important really. OH I've recently re-discovered A Very Potter Music/Sequel and now I can't stop listening to the soundtrack album thing. SO AMAZING :)
K bye. I promise when something interesting happens in mah life I'll write more. <3

My thoughts on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (1)
Phew, well it's been a while clearly. I'd like to say I've been busy but truth is there hasn't been anything really going on worth writing about - until now!
If you know me at all, you'll know I'm a bit of a Harry Potter fan, and last night I went to see the first installment of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I had so many thoughts on it that I thought I'd just write them down here :) I'm going to go through some parts that I particularly enjoyed, and then some parts I didn't. This will contain SPOILERS so if you haven't seen the film yet or read the book, stop reading.. now!
Overall, I thought it was absolutely amazing! A very dark film compared to the rest, but it's 'dark times!' What seperates it so much from the other films is that there is no Hogwarts nearby, so Dumbledore to protect them. It really shows how much the three main characters rely on each other.
Although it was quite dark, I really liked how there were some funny parts in it. It's a tense film so you need to be able to laugh at some parts. I especially loved the way the 7 Harry's part was done.
The first thing I didn't really like was the way that Hedwig and Mad Eye Moody's deaths happened way too fast. That part didn't really seem emotional because it was all over within a few seconds, and never spoken of it again.
Another thing I didn't like was the camping parts. So dull, and drags on forever. They could've cut a few scenes of it out seriously, unnecessary material. One thing I did like about the camping was the radio white noise in the background. The radio reminded the trio that it was a war going on everywhere else. It made it seem more like a war, not just 3 kids camping around, so I liked the way they used that.
I did absolutely love the Harry and Hermoine dancing scene. It was so goofy and amazing :) I liked the way that it's usually Hermoine who is taking charge, but this time it was Harry. He saw that she needed cheering up, and in such a crappy time as it is, they can just dance around like idiots in the tent, made me chuckle.
I also like how the movie shows the start of the Malfoy's beginning to weaken. How Lucius was so reluctant to hand over his wand to Voldemort. They really set that up for the second part of the movie, it was really well done.
When they go to the Lovegood's house, I thought the story of the Three Brothers about the sign was SO GOOD. It was told so well and it really stuck out to me. It was a risky move to put in the movie, but for me definately paid off I loved it!
Only one major part I was disappointed about. In the Lovegood's house they didn't include the part about Luna's paintings. One of my favourite parts and I was so annoyed when I didn't see it in the film. I suppose it's not that bad because the rest of the film makes up for it!
There were some pretty jumpy parts in it too! The whole section at Godric's Hollow, was TERRIFYING. You just knew that something was coming and it was just way way too scary for a Harry Potter film.
(EDIT 29/12: After seeing the film again, I remembered a lot of things that I didn't include. Just thought I'd briefly go over them now)
Surprisingly I liked the wedding scene. I think it was quite well done, and I especially loved the way it was interrupted by news that the minister is dead. I got goosebumps then! When it said 'they are coming' and immediately Harry, Ron and Hermoine begin their journey with no planning. Well, Hermoine had her bag (which was also awesome btw!) but beginning their journey like that made me feel for them a lot more. They weren't prepared, none of them knew what they were doing!
If you ever talk to me in person about Harry Potter, you'll know that I'm not a fan of Harry and Ginny. I just feel they as a couple are so awkward together. They have absolutely no chemistry and it still confuses me why they are together. Why would you put your main character, with a character who didn't even have a part until the second book/film. Sorry JK Rowling, but what were you thinking?
Completely buzzing for the next part to come out July I think? The film ended on such a cliffhanger and I was a little worried about when they decided to split the film but they really pulled it off and loved how it ended. Very pleased :D so to make up for the 2 weeks I haven't done one of these, I've done an epic one. Enjoy :)

A cheeky little update
Hello guys :) just a couple of things I thought I'd share with you. I'm currently sitting in my room and I'm a bit stuck on my damn NaNoWriMo booky wook. It's developing nicely and I'm on 4,727 words right now. I'm hoping to get to about 5,200 by the end of the night, but I doubt that's gonna happen. My brain just isn't functioning properly and hasn't really all day.
School was really good.. not. It's sucking all the life out of me, with these damn controlled assessment things? Got about 3 this month which is not good cos I need to organise stuff for it around writing 1600 words a day, which should be fun. But I can't really complain :P
The real downside to my day was my lunch. I was looking forward to tucking into a prawn salad all morning! It didn't reach my standards though, I had to wash it down with a cookie, sadface.
One super fantastic completely amazing thing happening this month is Harry Potter's coming out :D to which I have tickets for, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm so freakin excited it's unreal. When I got the tickets I might have just squealed a bit. Oh DAMN it's gonna be awesome :)
So anyway, just thought I'd use my breaktime from NaNo to write this. Hopefully school will lighten up and stop being so ew. Okay well toodles. <3

I'm way too committed!
Hey you beautiful people. I am currently sat here listening to Coldplay celebrating reaching my first target in NaNoWriMo finishing my day of writing on just under 2,000 words! Rob asked me yesterday if I'm going to do BEDN (Blog every day in November). And I am not going to, but I'm gonna blog every weekend at the very least, but if I have time in the week, that hoorah I'll blog!
So I've done my NaNo writing for the day, now here comes the even more tricky task of going onto the website and updating my details and word count, oh my god. The website is soooo laggy and slow, it's actually painful to watch that little circle spin round and round but NEVER LOAD.
Urgh, it has come to my attention I have been acting way too nerdy recently. Someone asked me why are you doing NaNoWriMo, do you like writing? To which I replied: "No, but it's fun forcing myself to write." But I do actually enjoy it! You get a real sense of achievement when you pass that 1,667 word count and you realise that's your day's work done! Ah beautiful.
So that's enough for today. I'm gonna go and make myself a cup of tea to celebrate! Have a good day everyone reading this <3
